- 1 lb Ground beef
- 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
- 1/2 cup Water
- 8 Taco shells
- 1 cup Shredded lettuce
- 1 cup Diced tomatoes
- 1 cup Shredded cheese
- Sour cream (optional), As desired
- Salsa (optional), As desired
Instructions
- In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Drain any excess fat.
- Add the taco seasoning and water, stirring to combine.
- Simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
- While the beef is cooking, heat the taco shells according to package instructions.
- Fill each taco shell with the ground beef mixture.
- Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
- Add sour cream and salsa if desired.
- Serve immediately and enjoy your tacos!
Notes
To keep taco shells crispy, store them separately from the beef mixture and assemble just before serving.
