Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon Taco seasoning
  • 1/2 cup Water
  • 8 Taco shells
  • 1 cup Shredded lettuce
  • 1 cup Diced tomatoes
  • 1 cup Shredded cheese
  • Sour cream (optional), As desired
  • Salsa (optional), As desired

Instructions

  1. In a skillet, brown the ground beef over medium heat until fully cooked.
  2. Drain any excess fat.
  3. Add the taco seasoning and water, stirring to combine.
  4. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the mixture thickens.
  5. While the beef is cooking, heat the taco shells according to package instructions.
  6. Fill each taco shell with the ground beef mixture.
  7. Top with shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, and shredded cheese.
  8. Add sour cream and salsa if desired.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy your tacos!

Notes

To keep taco shells crispy, store them separately from the beef mixture and assemble just before serving.
