Description

These no-bake energy bites blend the sweetness of bananas and the crunch of almonds into a satisfying snack, perfect for post-workout refueling.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 ripe bananas
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup almond butter
  • 1/4 cup honey or maple syrup
  • 1/2 cup chopped almonds
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • A pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Mash the bananas in a mixing bowl until smooth.
  2. Add rolled oats, almond butter, honey (or maple syrup), chopped almonds, vanilla extract, and salt to the mashed bananas, mixing until a thick dough forms.
  3. Scoop small portions and roll them into 1-inch bite-sized balls.
  4. Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes.
  5. Store in an airtight container in the fridge for up to one week.

Notes

For a variation, substitute almonds with other nuts or add protein powder for extra nutrition. Let the bites chill longer for better texture.
