- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 cups beef broth
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp paprika
- 9 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Fresh parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook until soft and translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add ground beef, breaking it apart as it cooks until golden brown. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard, and paprika. Cook for about 1 minute.
- Pour in beef broth and bring to a simmer.
- Add cheese tortellini and cook according to package instructions, about 3-5 minutes.
- Lower heat and stir in heavy cream. Simmer until slightly thickened.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with fresh parsley.
Notes
Opt for lean ground beef to reduce grease. You can add a splash of red wine for enhanced flavor, or use fresh herbs for garnish.
