- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 pita breads
- 1 cup shredded lettuce
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup sliced red onions
- 1/4 cup sliced cucumbers
- 1/2 cup tzatziki sauce
- 1/4 cup crumbled feta cheese
Instructions
- Season the chicken: Begin by seasoning the chicken breasts with olive oil, oregano, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
- Cook the chicken: Grill or pan-fry the chicken over medium heat for about 6-7 minutes on each side until it’s fully cooked and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (75°C).
- Warm the pita: In a dry skillet, warm the pita bread for around 30 seconds on each side.
- Assemble the wraps: Spread a dollop of tzatziki sauce on each warmed pita, then layer with sliced chicken, shredded lettuce, diced tomatoes, red onions, cucumbers, and crumbled feta cheese.
- Roll and serve: Fold the sides of the pita inward and roll tightly to form a wrap. Serve immediately.
Notes
For best flavor, let the chicken marinate longer if time allows. Adjust the tzatziki based on personal preference for creaminess.
