Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and prepare baking sheets.
  2. Cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, beating well, then mix in vanilla.
  4. In another bowl, whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the creamed mixture until just combined.
  6. Fold in the diced apples, nuts, and raisins.
  7. Drop dough by rounded tablespoons onto prepared sheets, spacing them apart.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes until edges are golden brown.
  9. Allow to cool on sheets before transferring to wire racks to cool completely.
