Description

  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Heat milk, water, and butter until melted and warm. Mix into dry ingredients and add egg. Knead until smooth.
  2. Let the Dough Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
  3. Prepare the Filling: Toss diced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
  4. Roll Out the Dough: Roll dough into a rectangle about 16×9 inches. Spread softened butter and distribute apple mixture evenly.
  5. Shape the Rolls: Roll tightly from long side, slice into 12 pieces, place in greased pan, cover, and let rise for about 30 minutes.
  6. Bake the Rolls: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Make the Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
