Instructions
- Make the Dough: In a large bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Heat milk, water, and butter until melted and warm. Mix into dry ingredients and add egg. Knead until smooth.
- Let the Dough Rise: Place dough in a greased bowl, cover, and let rise for about 1 hour until doubled.
- Prepare the Filling: Toss diced apples with brown sugar and cinnamon.
- Roll Out the Dough: Roll dough into a rectangle about 16×9 inches. Spread softened butter and distribute apple mixture evenly.
- Shape the Rolls: Roll tightly from long side, slice into 12 pieces, place in greased pan, cover, and let rise for about 30 minutes.
- Bake the Rolls: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
- Make the Glaze: Whisk together powdered sugar, melted butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Serve: Drizzle glaze over warm rolls and enjoy!
