- 1 lb ground turkey
- 1 apple, peeled and grated
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/4 cup fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
- 1 egg
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped sage, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
- Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.
Notes
Use fresh sage for a vibrant flavor and don’t overmix the meatball mixture.
