Description

Delicious turkey meatballs infused with sweet apples and fragrant sage, perfect for dinner or as a party appetizer.


Ingredients

  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 1 apple, peeled and grated
  • 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup fresh sage leaves, finely chopped
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the ground turkey, grated apple, breadcrumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped sage, egg, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper. Mix well until thoroughly combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1 1/2-inch meatballs and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. Drizzle the olive oil over the meatballs.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 20–25 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  6. Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving.

Notes

Use fresh sage for a vibrant flavor and don’t overmix the meatball mixture.
