Description

A quick, healthy, and flavorful dish featuring a delightful mix of vegetables, perfect for a busy weeknight dinner.


Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 small head of cabbage, chopped
  • 1 bell pepper, sliced
  • 2 carrots, julienned
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Sesame seeds for garnish

Instructions

  1. Heat the vegetable oil in a large pan or wok over medium-high heat.
  2. Add the garlic and stir-fry for about 30 seconds.
  3. Add the chopped cabbage, bell pepper, and carrots, and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until slightly tender.
  4. Add the snap peas and green onions, and continue to stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Pour in the soy sauce and sesame oil, seasoning with salt and pepper to taste; toss everything together to combine.
  6. Cook for an additional minute, then remove from heat.
  7. Serve hot, garnished with sesame seeds.

Notes

Customize your veggies based on what you have on hand. This dish can easily be made gluten-free by using tamari instead of soy sauce.
