Enjoy the crunchy golden tortillas filled with melty cheese and tender chicken, seasoned with spices like cumin and garlic.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups cooked chicken breasts, shredded
  • 4 large flour tortillas
  • 2 cups shredded cheese (cheddar, Monterey Jack, or a blend)
  • 1/4 cup diced onions
  • 1/4 cup diced bell peppers
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon cumin
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Olive oil for cooking

Instructions

  1. Heat a skillet over medium heat and add a little olive oil.
  2. Combine the shredded chicken, cheese, onions, bell peppers, garlic powder, cumin, and season with salt and pepper in a bowl.
  3. Place one tortilla in the skillet and add a portion of the chicken mixture on one half, then fold the tortilla over.
  4. Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown and cheese has melted.
  5. Repeat the process with remaining tortillas and filling.
  6. Cut the quesadilla into wedges and serve immediately.
