Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and salt.
- In a separate bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the egg and vanilla extract until well combined.
- Gradually mix in the dry ingredients until just combined.
- Fold in the white chocolate chips gently.
- Scoop tablespoon-sized balls of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about two inches apart.
- Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For extra chewiness, chill the dough for 30 minutes before baking.
