Description
A heavenly dessert that combines traditional banana pudding with creamy cheesecake, layered with fresh bananas and topped with whipped cream.

- 2 1/2 cups crushed vanilla wafer cookies
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, melted
- 2 tablespoons granulated sugar
- 2 cups cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups vanilla pudding
- 2 cups whipped cream
- 2 bananas, sliced
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed vanilla wafer cookies, melted butter, and granulated sugar. Mix well and press into the bottom of a springform pan to form the crust.
- Bake the crust for 10 minutes until lightly golden, then allow to cool completely.
- In another bowl, beat together softened cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth.
- Gently add vanilla pudding to the cream cheese mixture, then fold in whipped cream.
- Layer sliced bananas on the cooled crust, then evenly distribute the cream cheese mixture over the bananas.
- Refrigerate for at least 4 hours until set.
- Before serving, add extra whipped cream and banana slices on top for decoration.
Notes
For best results, chill overnight. Use ripe but firm bananas for optimal flavor.
