- 3 ripe bananas, sliced
- 1 can crushed pineapple, drained
- 1 box yellow cake mix
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup whipped cream
- 1 cup strawberries, sliced
- 1/2 cup chopped nuts (e.g., walnuts or pecans)
- Optional: chocolate syrup
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a greased 9×13-inch baking dish, layer the sliced bananas and crushed pineapple evenly.
- Sprinkle the dry yellow cake mix over the fruit evenly.
- Drizzle the melted butter over the top of the cake mix.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 30-35 minutes, or until the top is golden brown.
- Let it cool for a few minutes.
- Serve warm or at room temperature topped with whipped cream, sliced strawberries, and chopped nuts. Drizzle with chocolate syrup if desired.
