Description

A comforting Barilla Lasagna Recipe layered with pasta, rich tomato sauce, creamy ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan. Perfect for family dinners or special occasions.


Ingredients

12 Barilla lasagna sheets

2 cups ricotta cheese

3 cups mozzarella cheese shredded

1 cup parmesan cheese grated

4 cups tomato sauce or béchamel sauce

1 pound ground beef or roasted vegetables

1 medium onion diced

3 garlic cloves minced

2 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1 teaspoon dried basil

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. In a skillet, heat olive oil and sauté onions and garlic until fragrant.

3. Add ground beef, cook until browned, and season with salt, pepper, oregano, and basil.

4. Stir in tomato sauce and simmer for 15 minutes.

5. Spread a thin layer of sauce in a baking dish.

6. Place Barilla lasagna sheets over the sauce.

7. Add a layer of ricotta, mozzarella, and parmesan.

8. Top with more sauce and repeat layering until dish is nearly full.

9. Finish with sauce and mozzarella on top.

10. Cover with foil and bake for 40 minutes.

11. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until golden and bubbly.

12. Let rest 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

You can substitute beef with ground turkey, chicken, or vegetables.

Use gluten free Barilla lasagna sheets for a gluten free version.

Letting the lasagna rest after baking ensures clean slices and prevents soggy layers.
