- 1 can Dr Pepper
- 1 cup Barbecue sauce
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Optional: Sandwich rolls or salad greens as needed
Instructions
- Place the chicken breasts in the crockpot, laying them flat.
- Pour the Dr Pepper and barbecue sauce over the chicken.
- Season with salt and pepper to enhance the flavor.
- Cook on low for 360-480 minutes or on high for 180-240 minutes until the chicken is tender and can be easily shredded.
- After cooking, shred the chicken with two forks and mix it with the sauce.
- Serve on sandwich rolls or over salad greens for a fresh meal.
