- 2 lbs Boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 1/4 cup Barbecue sauce (like Sweet Baby Ray’s Honey BBQ)
- 1/2 cup Italian dressing (fat-free recommended)
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup Light brown sugar (reduce or omit if preferred)
- 1 tbsp Garlic powder
- 1 tbsp Onion powder
- Salt and black pepper to taste
Instructions
- Spray the inside of the crockpot with non-stick cooking spray to prevent sticking.
- Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, onion powder, and garlic powder, then place them in the crockpot.
- Mix the barbecue sauce, Italian dressing, light brown sugar, and Worcestershire sauce in a bowl. Pour this mixture over the chicken in the crockpot.
- Cook on high for 150-180 minutes or on low for 300-360 minutes, making sure the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F.
- Serve the chicken whole or shred it to enjoy on buns or mixed into salads and sides.
