- 8 ounces wide rice noodles
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup broccoli florets
- 1 cup cooked protein (chicken, shrimp, or tofu)
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 tablespoon oyster sauce (or vegetarian alternative)
- 1 tablespoon chili sauce (adjust to taste)
- Fresh basil leaves for garnish
Instructions
- Boil water in a large pot. Add rice noodles and cook until tender. Drain and set aside.
- Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant, being careful not to burn it.
- Add sliced red bell pepper and broccoli florets. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until vibrant and slightly tender.
- Add your choice of cooked protein and mix thoroughly.
- In a small bowl, mix soy sauce, oyster sauce, and chili sauce. Pour over stir-fried ingredients.
- Gently add cooked rice noodles and toss to coat evenly.
- Stir-fry for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with fresh basil leaves. Serve.
Notes
Adjust the heat by adding chilies for spice. Use different proteins or noodles as desired.
