Description

A delightful dessert that balances sweet and tart flavors with a crunchy oat topping.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups fresh or frozen blueberries
  • 1 cup rolled oats
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350ยฐF (175ยฐC).
  2. Combine blueberries with sugar in a mixing bowl.
  3. Mix rolled oats, brown sugar, flour, salt, and cinnamon in another bowl.
  4. Pour in the melted butter and mix until crumbly.
  5. Spread the blueberry mixture into a baking dish and sprinkle the oat mixture on top.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the topping is golden brown and the blueberries are bubbling.

Notes

Serve warm topped with vanilla ice cream or whipped cream. Can be stored in the fridge for 3 days or frozen for 3 months.
