- 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
- 1 cup Vanilla Custard
- 1 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
- 2 tablespoons Vegetable Oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease or line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream the unsalted butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Add in the egg and vanilla extract, mixing until well incorporated.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined.
- Scoop out tablespoon-sized portions of the dough and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
- Bake for about 10 minutes, or until lightly golden around the edges. Let cool completely.
- Press your thumb into the center of each cookie to create a small well, and fill it with vanilla custard.
- Melt the chocolate chips with vegetable oil until smooth and drizzle over the filled cookies.
- Allow the chocolate to set before serving.
Notes
Add chopped nuts or crisped rice for extra texture. Adjust sugar for a low-sugar option. Ensure custard consistency is firm to avoid spillage.
