- 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
- Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spaced well apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
- While the cookies cool, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
- Once cookies are cool, fill each cookie with the whipped cream using a piping bag.
- Melt the milk chocolate chips and dip the tops of the filled cookies in the glaze.
- Let the glaze set before serving.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Avoid overmixing the dough and chill if it’s too soft.
