Description

A delightful twist on the classic dessert, combining rich chocolate and creamy custard into bite-sized cookie treats.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Cream together the butter and sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Gradually add to the creamed mixture.
  5. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto baking sheets, spaced well apart.
  6. Bake for 12-15 minutes until lightly golden.
  7. While the cookies cool, whip the heavy cream with powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
  8. Once cookies are cool, fill each cookie with the whipped cream using a piping bag.
  9. Melt the milk chocolate chips and dip the tops of the filled cookies in the glaze.
  10. Let the glaze set before serving.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for better mixing. Avoid overmixing the dough and chill if it’s too soft.
