- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
- 4 large eggs
- 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon butter (optional)
Instructions
- Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.
- In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. Cook gently in a nonstick skillet until just set and creamy.
- Slightly flatten each biscuit round. Fill the center with scrambled egg, sausage, and cheese. Pinch the edges to seal.
- Place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Optionally brush with melted butter.
- Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.
Notes
Customize the filling to your taste with different proteins or vegetables. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
