Description

Delicious bites of biscuit dough filled with scrambled eggs, savory sausage, and gooey cheddar cheese, perfect for breakfast or brunch.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 pound breakfast sausage
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon butter (optional)

Instructions

  1. Brown the breakfast sausage in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked. Drain excess grease and set aside.
  2. In a bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper. Cook gently in a nonstick skillet until just set and creamy.
  3. Slightly flatten each biscuit round. Fill the center with scrambled egg, sausage, and cheese. Pinch the edges to seal.
  4. Place seam-side down on a baking sheet. Optionally brush with melted butter.
  5. Bake at 375°F for 15 minutes until golden brown.
  6. Let cool for 5 minutes before serving.

Notes

Customize the filling to your taste with different proteins or vegetables. Store leftovers in the fridge for up to 3-4 days or freeze for longer storage.
