Description

A savory and nutritious dish combining Brussels sprouts and ground turkey, perfect for weeknight dinners.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground turkey
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 onion, diced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon paprika
  • Optional: red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the diced onion and sauté until translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
  3. Add minced garlic and cook for another minute until fragrant.
  4. Stir in ground turkey, breaking it apart with a spoon, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add halved Brussels sprouts, salt, pepper, and paprika, stirring well to combine.
  6. Cover the skillet and cook for about 7-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are tender.
  7. If desired, sprinkle red pepper flakes for extra heat and serve hot.

Notes

Use fresh Brussels sprouts for the best flavor and avoid overcrowding the skillet when cooking the turkey.
