Description

A quick and healthy skillet meal combining the earthy taste of Brussels sprouts with the savory richness of ground turkey.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound ground turkey
  • 2 cups Brussels sprouts, halved
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 onion, chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add the chopped onion and sauté for 3-4 minutes until translucent.
  3. Toss in minced garlic and cook for another minute.
  4. Stir in ground turkey, breaking it apart, and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
  5. Add halved Brussels sprouts, salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Stir to coat.
  6. Cover and cook for 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until Brussels sprouts are tender.
  7. Serve warm and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh Brussels sprouts for best texture. Don’t overcook the turkey to keep it moist. Experiment with seasonings to suit your taste.
