- 7 cups Rice Chex cereal
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ¼ cup salted butter
- 1 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
- 18 fun-size Butterfinger candy bars (15 crushed and 3 chopped for garnish)
- 1 ¼ cup powdered sugar (sifted)
Instructions
- In a large mixing bowl, add the Rice Chex cereal.
- In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and salted butter. Microwave for about 1 minute, then stir until smooth.
- Mix in the vanilla extract for enhanced flavor.
- Drizzle the chocolate mixture over the Rice Chex and stir gently to coat.
- Fold in the crushed Butterfinger candy bars.
- Coat the mixture with powdered sugar by either sprinkling it on or shaking it in a ziplock bag.
- Spread the mixture on a baking sheet to dry. Sprinkle with chopped Butterfinger before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container; it lasts about a week. Can be frozen for up to three months.
