A delightful dish combining creamy garlic sauce with spicy Cajun chicken and tender cheese tortellini.

- 2 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
- 1 package (9 oz) cheese tortellini
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup chicken broth
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley
- Optional: Red pepper flakes for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts generously with Cajun seasoning.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet, cook chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side until internal temperature reaches 165°F, then let rest.
- Cook cheese tortellini in boiling salted water according to package instructions, drain, and set aside.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add garlic, and sauté for 1 minute.
- Add heavy cream and chicken broth, bring to a simmer, then stir in Parmesan cheese until smooth.
- Slice the chicken, add back to the skillet along with the tortellini, and toss to coat.
- Season with salt and pepper, garnish with parsley and red pepper flakes, then serve hot.
Notes
For added flavor, marinate chicken in Cajun seasoning for a few hours before cooking. Stir Parmesan continuously to prevent clumping in the sauce.
