Description

A delightful combination of seafood and spice, featuring scallops in a rich creamy sauce balanced with Cajun seasoning.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pound scallops
  • 2 tablespoons Cajun seasoning
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup chicken broth
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Rinse the scallops and pat them dry with paper towels.
  2. Season the scallops with Cajun seasoning.
  3. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat.
  4. Add the scallops to the skillet and cook for about 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through.
  5. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
  6. In the same skillet, add minced garlic and sauté for 1 minute.
  7. Pour in chicken broth and simmer for 2 minutes.
  8. Stir in heavy cream and let it simmer until thickened, about 3-5 minutes.
  9. Return scallops to the skillet, mix well, and heat through.
  10. Season with salt and pepper to taste and garnish with chopped parsley before serving.

Notes

Make sure to dry the scallops well before seasoning for better searing. Use fresh ingredients for the best flavor.
