Tender steak tips seasoned with Cajun spice, succulent penne pasta, and a luxurious creamy Parmesan cheese sauce for a delightful meal.

- 1 lb sirloin or ribeye steak tips
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp smoked paprika
- Salt & black pepper, to taste
- 12 oz penne pasta
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1 cup whole milk
- 4 oz cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 tsp Cajun seasoning (for sauce)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Cook the penne pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and reserve 1 cup of cooking water.
- Season steak tips with Cajun seasoning, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Sear in heated olive oil for 3-4 minutes per side until browned. Remove from pan.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant. Add heavy cream, milk, and cream cheese, stirring until smooth.
- Mix in Parmesan and mozzarella, stirring until melted. If thick, add reserved pasta water to adjust consistency.
- Toss cooked penne in sauce, add steak tips, and mix thoroughly. Serve hot garnished with parsley.
Notes
For a richer flavor, season steak tips the night before. This dish can be made gluten-free using gluten-free penne.
