Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 Chicken thighs or breasts
  • 1/4 cup Soy sauce
  • 1/4 cup Brown sugar
  • 3 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 inch Ginger, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
  • 2 Green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.
  2. Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
  3. Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
  4. Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until caramelized and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
  5. Serve the chicken over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.

Notes

For juicier results, use chicken thighs. Fresh garlic and ginger enhance flavor. Control heat to avoid burning.
