- 4 Chicken thighs or breasts
- 1/4 cup Soy sauce
- 1/4 cup Brown sugar
- 3 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 inch Ginger, minced
- 2 tablespoons Sesame oil
- 2 Green onions, chopped
- Rice, for serving
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, brown sugar, minced garlic, and minced ginger until well combined.
- Marinate the chicken in the mixture for at least 30 minutes.
- Heat sesame oil in a pan over medium heat.
- Add the marinated chicken to the pan and cook until caramelized and cooked through, about 7-8 minutes per side.
- Serve the chicken over cooked rice and garnish with chopped green onions.
Notes
For juicier results, use chicken thighs. Fresh garlic and ginger enhance flavor. Control heat to avoid burning.
