Description
Warm, gooey chocolate chip cookies stuffed with a creamy cheesecake filling, blending two beloved desserts into one delightful treat.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter (softened)
- ½ cup granulated sugar
- ½ cup brown sugar (light or dark)
- 2 large eggs (room temperature)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- ½ teaspoon salt
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 8 oz cream cheese (softened)
- ½ cup powdered sugar (adjust to taste)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract (optional)
Instructions
- Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: Beat the softened cream cheese and powdered sugar until smooth and creamy. Chill in the refrigerator.
- Make the Cookie Dough: Cream together butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until fluffy. Beat in eggs and vanilla extract.
- Combine the Dry Ingredients: Whisk flour, baking soda, baking powder, and salt. Gradually mix into the wet ingredients, then fold in chocolate chips.
- Stuff the Cookies: Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Flatten a tablespoon of cookie dough, add a teaspoon of chilled cheesecake filling, and enclose the filling with the dough.
- Bake: Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes until golden around the edges. Cool on a baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
Chill the dough for at least 30 minutes to prevent spreading. Use room temperature eggs and softened cream cheese for best results.
