Description

Cheesy chicken Alfredo lasagna is a layered comfort food made with tender chicken, creamy Alfredo sauce, melty cheeses, and pasta sheets baked to golden perfection.


Ingredients

12 lasagna noodles (boiled or oven-ready)

2 cups cooked shredded chicken (rotisserie or homemade)

3 cups Alfredo sauce (preferably homemade)

2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

1 cup grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup ricotta cheese

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1 tablespoon chopped parsley

Salt and pepper to taste


Instructions

1. Preheat oven to 375°F.

2. Boil the lasagna noodles if using traditional pasta. Drain and set aside.

3. Prepare the Alfredo sauce in a saucepan with butter, garlic, cream, and Parmesan.

4. Shred the chicken and season it as desired.

5. In a 9×13 baking dish, spread a layer of Alfredo sauce on the bottom.

6. Layer noodles, chicken, cheeses, and sauce. Repeat for 3 to 4 layers.

7. Finish with noodles, sauce, and shredded mozzarella on top.

8. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 30 minutes.

9. Remove foil and bake for another 15 minutes until the top is golden.

10. Let the lasagna rest for 10 minutes before slicing and serving.

Notes

Use freshly grated cheese for better melting.

Add sautéed mushrooms or spinach between layers for extra flavor.

For meal prep, the lasagna can be frozen before or after baking.

Let the baked lasagna cool before slicing to keep layers intact.
