Description

Ingredients

  • 1 Large Loaf of Crusty Artisan Bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
  • 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted (or olive oil)
  • 4 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
  • 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley (optional)
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
  • 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Carefully slice the artisan bread into a grid pattern, ensuring you don’t cut all the way through.
  3. In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
  4. Drizzle the mixture into the crevices of the bread.
  5. Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts in the bread.
  6. Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
  7. Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then serve it hot.

Notes

Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Pair with an arugula salad and red wine for a delightful meal.
