- 1 Large Loaf of Crusty Artisan Bread (sourdough or ciabatta)
- 4 tablespoons Unsalted Butter, melted (or olive oil)
- 4 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Garlic Powder
- 1 teaspoon Dried Oregano
- 1 tablespoon Dried Parsley (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Salt
- 1/2 teaspoon Black Pepper
- 2 cups Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
- 1/2 cup Grated Parmesan Cheese
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Carefully slice the artisan bread into a grid pattern, ensuring you don’t cut all the way through.
- In a bowl, mix the melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, oregano, parsley, salt, and black pepper.
- Drizzle the mixture into the crevices of the bread.
- Stuff the shredded mozzarella and grated Parmesan cheese into the cuts in the bread.
- Wrap the loaf in aluminum foil and bake for 15 minutes; then uncover and bake for an additional 10 minutes until golden and crispy.
- Let it cool for a couple of minutes, then serve it hot.
Notes
Serve with a side of marinara sauce for dipping. Pair with an arugula salad and red wine for a delightful meal.
