- 1 pound ground beef
- 2 cups cooked rice
- 1 medium onion, chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 can (10.5 oz) cream of mushroom soup
- 1 cup sour cream
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 tablespoon olive oil
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until soft and fragrant.
- Add ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned. Season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- In a large bowl, combine the beef mixture with cooked rice, cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, and 1 cup of shredded cheese. Mix well.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish. Spread evenly and top with the remaining shredded cheese.
- Bake at 350°F (175°C) for 25 to 30 minutes, until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Let cool slightly before serving. Garnish with parsley or green onions if desired.
