Description

A creamy, rich dish combining tender chicken with fettuccine pasta, enveloped in a luscious Alfredo sauce made from heavy cream and Parmesan cheese, perfect for dinner or gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 250g Fettuccine pasta
  • 2 Chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Heavy cream
  • 1 cup Grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons Butter
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Cook the Fettuccine: Begin by boiling water in a large pot. Add the fettuccine pasta and cook according to the package instructions. Once done, drain the pasta and set it aside.
  2. Sauté the Garlic: In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and sauté for about a minute or until it becomes fragrant.
  3. Cook the Chicken: Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper. Place them in the skillet and cook for about 6-7 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through. Remove them from the skillet and slice them into strips.
  4. Prepare the Alfredo Sauce: Keeping the skillet on medium heat, pour in the heavy cream and bring it to a gentle simmer. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until it is melted and smooth.
  5. Combine Pasta and Sauce: Add the cooked fettuccine to the Alfredo sauce, tossing it gently to coat. If the sauce appears too thick, add a bit of the reserved pasta water to achieve the desired consistency.
  6. Serve: Plate the pasta and top it with the sliced chicken. Garnish with chopped parsley for an added touch of freshness.

Notes

For best results, use fresh ingredients and season the chicken adequately.
