Description

A delicious and hearty pasta dish combining tender chicken, crispy bacon, and a rich ranch sauce, perfect for family dinners and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
  • 6 strips bacon
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 2 small boneless skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 cups uncooked pasta (Rotini recommended)
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 tablespoon garlic, minced
  • 2 cups half and half
  • 2 tablespoons dry ranch dressing seasoning mix

Instructions

  1. In a large skillet over low heat, cook the bacon until crispy. Set aside and reserve the drippings.
  2. Slice chicken breasts and season. Sear in the reserved drippings until golden and cooked through. Let rest and cube.
  3. Boil water and cook rotini until al dente, about 8–10 minutes. Drain and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, melt butter and sauté garlic. Gradually add flour to create a roux, then stir in half and half. Add ranch seasoning and cheese, mixing until smooth.
  5. Toss cooked pasta into the sauce, then add cubed chicken and garnish with chopped bacon. Serve warm.

Notes

Cook bacon slowly for even crispiness. Ensure the pasta is al dente and adjust ranch seasoning to taste.
