Description

A delightful combination of tangy mustard and sweet honey, resulting in tender and juicy chicken.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 3 tablespoons olive oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh herbs (like parsley or thyme) for garnish

Instructions

  1. Prepare the Marinade: In a bowl, mix together the Dijon mustard, honey, olive oil, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Stir until combined.
  2. Marinate the Chicken: Place the chicken breasts in a resealable bag or a large bowl. Pour the marinade over the chicken, ensuring they are well-coated. Seal the bag or cover the bowl, and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to overnight for more flavor).
  3. Preheat the Oven: When you’re ready to cook, preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  4. Bake the Chicken: Remove the chicken from the marinade and place it on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake for about 20-25 minutes or until the chicken reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C).
  5. Garnish and Serve: Once baked, remove the chicken from the oven and let it rest for a few minutes. Garnish with fresh herbs before serving.

Notes

Marinate longer for deeper flavor. Use a meat thermometer for accurate cooking.
