- 1 packet Taco seasoning
- 2 cups Lettuce, shredded
- 1 cup Tomatoes, diced
- 1 cup Corn
- 1 can Beans (black or pinto), rinsed
- ½ cup Cheese (optional), shredded
- 1 Avocado (optional), sliced
- ¼ cup Sour cream (optional)
- 1 Lime (for garnish), cut into wedges
Instructions
- Brown the turkey: In a skillet over medium heat, cook the ground turkey until fully browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add seasoning: Sprinkle the taco seasoning over the browned turkey with a splash of water and let it simmer for 3-5 minutes.
- Build your bowl: Start with a base of shredded lettuce in a bowl.
- Layer toppings: On top of the lettuce, add the cooked turkey, diced tomatoes, corn, and beans, along with any optional toppings.
- Garnish and serve: Finish with a squeeze of fresh lime juice and enjoy right away or store for later.
