Description
A delightful dessert combining rich, fudgy brownies with scrumptious chunks of cookie dough, creating a chewy and gooey treat perfect for any occasion.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 cups sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
- 1 cup cookie dough (store-bought or homemade)
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking pan to prevent sticking.
- In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and sugar together until they’re well combined and smooth.
- Add in the eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition to incorporate them fully. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, and salt. Gradually add this dry mixture to the wet mixture while stirring gently until just combined.
- Fold in the chocolate chips.
- Pour half of the brownie batter into the greased baking pan and spread it evenly.
- Drop spoonfuls of cookie dough over the brownie batter, distributing it as evenly as possible.
- Pour the remaining brownie batter on top, smoothing it out to cover the cookie dough completely.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted in the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- Allow them to cool before cutting into squares and serving.
Notes
For ideal texture, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing the batter.
