Description
A unique twist on traditional cranberry sauce, featuring a creamy chocolate coating that complements the tart cranberries.
Ingredients
Scale
- 1 cup cranberry sauce
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 tablespoon coconut oil
- Sea salt (optional)
Instructions
- Scoop the cranberry sauce into small balls and place them on a parchment-lined tray. Freeze for about one hour until firm.
- Melt the chocolate chips with coconut oil in a microwave-safe bowl or double boiler, stirring often to prevent burning.
- Dip each frozen cranberry ball into the melted chocolate, allowing excess to drip off before placing them back on the tray.
- If desired, sprinkle sea salt on top before the chocolate sets.
- Chill in the fridge until chocolate is completely set, then store in an airtight container.
Notes
For best results, use fresh cranberry sauce and high-quality chocolate. Experiment with different toppings for added texture.
