Ingredients

- 1 box saltine crackers
- 225 g unsalted butter
- 220 g brown sugar
- 340 g semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 5 g ground cinnamon
- 100 g granulated sugar
- 5 g sea salt
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 175°C.
- Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- Lay the saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
- In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and brown sugar together, stirring constantly until the mixture bubbles.
- Pour the hot toffee mixture evenly over the saltine crackers and bake for about 5–7 minutes, or until bubbly and golden.
- Remove from the oven, scatter the chocolate chips on top, let sit for a few minutes, then spread evenly.
- Combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon, sprinkle over the warm chocolate, and finish with a pinch of sea salt.
- Let cool completely at room temperature before breaking into pieces.
Notes
For an extra flourish, serve with vanilla ice cream and a warm drink.
