- 1 pound Shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 2 tablespoons Olive oil
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- 1 teaspoon Chili powder
- 1 teaspoon Cumin
- Juice of 2 limes
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 8 small Corn or flour tortillas
- 1 cup Cabbage, shredded
- 1/2 cup Cilantro, chopped
- 1 Avocado, sliced
- 1/2 cup Sour cream (optional)
- Hot sauce to taste (optional)
Instructions
- Toss the shrimp with olive oil, minced garlic, chili powder, cumin, lime juice, salt, and pepper. Let the shrimp marinate for about 15 minutes.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the marinated shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until they turn pink and are fully cooked.
- Combine shredded cabbage and chopped cilantro in another bowl to create a slaw.
- Warm the tortillas in a pan or microwave until soft.
- Assemble the tacos by placing the cooked shrimp on a tortilla, and topping them with cilantro slaw and slices of avocado.
- Drizzle with sour cream and hot sauce if desired, then serve immediately.
Notes
Marinate shrimp longer for enhanced flavor. Use fresh lime juice for best results.
