Description

A comforting dessert combining cinnamon rolls and apple pie filling in a layered, gooey lasagna.


Ingredients

  • 2 cans refrigerated cinnamon rolls (with icing)
  • 4 cups apple pie filling
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg (optional)
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup whipped topping
  • Caramel sauce (for drizzling)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Separate the cinnamon rolls and set the icing aside. Flatten each roll slightly and place half at the bottom of the baking dish.
  3. Bake the bottom layer of cinnamon rolls for about 10 minutes, until slightly puffed.
  4. In a medium bowl, beat the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth, then fold in the whipped topping.
  5. In another bowl, mix the apple pie filling with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  6. Spread half of the apple mixture over the baked cinnamon roll layer, followed by a layer of the cream cheese mixture. Repeat the process with the remaining layers.
  7. Cover the dish with foil and bake for 25–30 minutes until bubbly and golden.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. Can be made ahead and refrigerated.
