Ingredients

- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar (for glaze)
- 1 tablespoon milk (for glaze)
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a muffin tin with paper liners.
- In a large bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, melted butter, eggs, and vanilla extract.
- Combine the wet mixture into the dry ingredients and stir gently until just combined.
- In a small bowl, mix the cinnamon and sugar for the filling.
- Scoop a tablespoon of batter into each muffin cup, sprinkle with cinnamon sugar, and top with more batter.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until a toothpick comes out clean.
- For the glaze, mix powdered sugar and milk until smooth and drizzle over cooled muffins.
