- 1 can (16.3 oz) refrigerated biscuit dough, Pillsbury Grands Southern Homestyle preferred
- 2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons whole milk
- 1/4 teaspoon vanilla extract
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (177°C) and grease a 9-inch pie pan.
- Melt the unsalted butter and stir in the kosher salt; let cool slightly.
- In a separate bowl, combine ground cinnamon and granulated sugar.
- Open the biscuit dough and cut each biscuit into 4 portions; roll into balls.
- Dip each ball in the melted butter and coat with the cinnamon sugar mix.
- Arrange the coated dough balls in the prepared pan.
- Bake in the preheated oven for about 20 to 23 minutes until golden brown.
- While baking, whisk powdered sugar, whole milk, and vanilla extract for the glaze.
- Once baked, drizzle with half the glaze and serve warm.
Notes
Best served warm straight out of the oven. Feel free to experiment with different glazes and fillings.
