- 3 ripe avocados
- 1 lime, juiced
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 medium onion, diced
- 2 Roma tomatoes, diced
- 1 tablespoon chopped fresh cilantro
- 1 jalapeño, seeded and minced (optional)
- 1 clove garlic, minced (optional)
Instructions
- Cut the avocados in half, remove the pit, and scoop the flesh into a bowl.
- Mash the avocado with a fork until you reach your desired consistency.
- Stir in lime juice, salt, cumin, onion, tomatoes, cilantro, jalapeño, and garlic if using.
- Mix until well combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning if needed.
- Serve immediately with tortilla chips, or store in the fridge with plastic wrap pressed directly on the surface.
