- 1 ½ cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tsp baking soda
- ¼ tsp salt
- ½ cup unsalted butter, room temperature
- ½ cup creamy peanut butter
- ½ cup granulated sugar (plus more for rolling)
- ½ cup light brown sugar, packed
- 1 large egg
- 2 tbsp whole milk
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 36 unwrapped Hershey’s Milk Chocolate Kisses
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 375°F and line your baking sheets with parchment paper.
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a separate large bowl, beat the softened butter and peanut butter together until smooth.
- Add in the granulated and brown sugar, and beat until light and fluffy.
- Mix in the egg, milk, and vanilla extract until combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients, mixing until just incorporated.
- Scoop about 1 tablespoon of dough, roll into balls, and coat with granulated sugar.
- Space the dough balls about 2 inches apart on the prepared baking sheets.
- Bake for 8 to 10 minutes or until edges are lightly browned.
- Press a chocolate kiss into the center of each cookie immediately after baking.
- Cool on the baking sheets for about 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack.
Notes
For best results, use room temperature ingredients and avoid overmixing the dough.
