Description

A versatile Italian egg-based dish perfect for brunch, packed with vegetables and cheese.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 6 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 cup chopped vegetables (bell peppers, onions, spinach, etc.)
  • 1 cup shredded cheese (cheddar, feta, or your preference)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Optional: cooked meat (bacon, sausage, or ham)

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In an oven-safe skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add your chopped vegetables and cook until softened, about 5 to 7 minutes. If adding meat, toss that in as well.
  3. In a mixing bowl, whisk together the eggs, milk, salt, and pepper until fully combined.
  4. Pour the egg mixture over the sautéed vegetables and meat in the skillet.
  5. Sprinkle shredded cheese on top.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the center is set and the top is lightly golden.
  7. Let it cool for a few minutes before slicing. Enjoy warm or at room temperature!

Notes

For best flavor, use fresh ingredients and avoid overcooking. Customize with different vegetables or herbs to suit your taste.
