Description

A whimsical treat combining crispy Rice Krispies and gooey marshmallows with the delightful flavor of cotton candy, perfect for celebrations or snacks.


Ingredients

  • 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
  • 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • 4 cups mini marshmallows
  • 1/2 teaspoon cotton candy extract
  • Pink gel food coloring (optional)
  • 1 cup pink candy melts
  • 12 wooden skewers or lollipop sticks
  • Non-stick spray or butter
  • Parchment or wax paper

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter carefully without browning it.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
  3. Stir in the cotton candy extract and a few drops of pink gel food coloring until evenly mixed.
  4. Pour the marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl, folding until every piece is coated.
  5. Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then grease your hands and form portions onto skewers, twisting into fun shapes.
  6. Place the twists on parchment or wax paper to set for 20–30 minutes.
  7. Melt the pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package instructions.
  8. Dip each twist in the melted candy, letting excess drip off, then return them to the paper to set.
  9. Once set, serve or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.

Notes

Let them cool completely to maintain shape when dipped. Experiment with different extracts for unique flavors.
