- 4 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 4 cups mini marshmallows
- 1/2 teaspoon cotton candy extract
- Pink gel food coloring (optional)
- 1 cup pink candy melts
- 12 wooden skewers or lollipop sticks
- Non-stick spray or butter
- Parchment or wax paper
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the butter carefully without browning it.
- Add the mini marshmallows and stir until fully melted.
- Stir in the cotton candy extract and a few drops of pink gel food coloring until evenly mixed.
- Pour the marshmallow mixture over the Rice Krispies in a large bowl, folding until every piece is coated.
- Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then grease your hands and form portions onto skewers, twisting into fun shapes.
- Place the twists on parchment or wax paper to set for 20–30 minutes.
- Melt the pink candy melts in a microwave-safe bowl according to package instructions.
- Dip each twist in the melted candy, letting excess drip off, then return them to the paper to set.
- Once set, serve or store in an airtight container for up to 5 days.
Notes
Let them cool completely to maintain shape when dipped. Experiment with different extracts for unique flavors.
