Description

A rich and creamy chicken dish with a flavorful butter sauce infused with garlic, herbs, and lemon.


Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • ½ cup unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • ½ cup heavy cream
  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • Fresh parsley and dill

Instructions

  1. Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
  2. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown, then set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, dill, lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Simmer until creamy.
  4. Return chicken to the skillet, coat with sauce, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.

Notes

For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with chicken broth. Make sure not to rush the searing process for a better crust.
