Description
A rich and creamy chicken dish with a flavorful butter sauce infused with garlic, herbs, and lemon.
Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- ½ cup unsalted butter
- 4 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
- ½ cup heavy cream
- Juice of 1 lemon
- Fresh parsley and dill
Instructions
- Pat the chicken breasts dry and season with salt, pepper, and paprika.
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat, sear chicken for 4-5 minutes on each side until golden brown, then set aside.
- Melt butter in the same skillet, sauté garlic until fragrant, then stir in Dijon mustard, red pepper flakes, parsley, dill, lemon juice, chicken broth, and heavy cream. Simmer until creamy.
- Return chicken to the skillet, coat with sauce, cover, and cook for 8-10 minutes until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
- Garnish with fresh herbs and serve hot.
Notes
For a lighter version, substitute half of the heavy cream with chicken broth. Make sure not to rush the searing process for a better crust.
