- 8 oz Spaghetti
- 4 slices Smoky bacon
- 1 lb Seasoned ground beef
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1 cup Tomato sauce
- 1 cup Cheddar cheese, shredded
- 1 small Onion, chopped
- 2 cloves Garlic, minced
- Salt, to taste
- Pepper, to taste
Instructions
- Cook the spaghetti in salted boiling water according to package instructions. Drain and set aside, reserving some pasta water.
- In a large pot, cook bacon over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove bacon and leave some grease in the pot.
- Add onion and garlic to the pot; sauté until onion is translucent, about 3-4 minutes.
- Add the ground beef, breaking it apart while cooking until browned, about 5-6 minutes. Drain excess fat if necessary.
- Stir in BBQ sauce and tomato sauce, letting it simmer for a few minutes.
- Add the drained spaghetti into the pot, ensuring it’s well coated with the sauce. Heat for 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, topped with cheddar cheese and crumbled bacon.
Notes
Use quality bacon for better flavor. Cook spaghetti al dente and adjust seasoning based on BBQ sauce sweetness.
