Description
Crab Rangoon Egg Rolls combine the creamy taste of crab rangoon with a crispy egg roll shell, making a perfect appetizer for any gathering.
Ingredients
Scale
- 8 egg roll wrappers
- 8 oz cream cheese, softened
- 6 oz crab meat, cooked and drained
- 2 green onions, finely chopped
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- Oil for frying (or cooking spray for baking/air-frying)
- Sweet and sour sauce for serving (optional)
Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, crab meat, green onions, garlic powder, and soy sauce. Mix until smooth and well combined.
- Lay an egg roll wrapper flat on a clean surface. Place 2 tablespoons of the crab mixture in the center of the wrapper. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold in the sides and roll tightly to seal.
- Repeat with remaining wrappers and filling. Ensure each egg roll is well-sealed.
- For frying: Heat oil in a deep pot over medium heat and fry the egg rolls until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side. For baking: Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C) and bake for 15-20 minutes or until golden. For air frying: Preheat air fryer to 375°F (190°C) and cook for 10-12 minutes, flipping halfway through.
- Serve hot with sweet and sour sauce for dipping.
Notes
Ensure to seal the edges properly to avoid filling leakage. Feel free to experiment with additional spices or fillings for a unique twist.
