Ingredients

- 20 oz cheese tortellini
- 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
- Salt
- Black pepper
- Garlic powder
- Smoked paprika
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 4 tbsp butter
- 5 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 3/4 cup whole milk
- 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
- Parsley, chopped (optional)
- Red pepper flakes (optional)
- Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)
Instructions
- Boil salted water and cook the tortellini until al dente; drain and set aside.
- Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, then sear in olive oil for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness, then let rest before slicing.
- In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and milk, stirring, then mix in parmesan until melted.
- Add the tortellini and sliced steak back into the skillet, gently toss to coat, and heat through. Adjust seasoning as needed.
- Serve topped with parsley and red pepper flakes.

For an added kick, consider incorporating Italian seasoning or fresh herbs.
