Description

A delicious and comforting meal featuring tender steak and rich, creamy tortellini in a garlic-infused sauce.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 20 oz cheese tortellini
  • 1 lb steak (sirloin or ribeye)
  • Salt
  • Black pepper
  • Garlic powder
  • Smoked paprika
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 5 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup whole milk
  • 1 1/4 cups parmesan, shredded or freshly grated
  • Parsley, chopped (optional)
  • Red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Cracked black pepper (optional garnish)

Instructions

  1. Boil salted water and cook the tortellini until al dente; drain and set aside.
  2. Season the steak with salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and smoked paprika, then sear in olive oil for about 4-5 minutes per side until desired doneness, then let rest before slicing.
  3. In the same skillet, melt butter, add minced garlic, and cook for 30 seconds. Add heavy cream and milk, stirring, then mix in parmesan until melted.
  4. Add the tortellini and sliced steak back into the skillet, gently toss to coat, and heat through. Adjust seasoning as needed.
  5. Serve topped with parsley and red pepper flakes.

Notes

For an added kick, consider incorporating Italian seasoning or fresh herbs.
